Hi there! I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and received my massage certification from Lakeside School of Massage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My massage career started in 1996 at a chiropractic healthcare facility where I worked in conjunction with doctors to help relieve the patients' pains from various health issues. I have also worked at a day spa, helping clients relax and rejuvenate in a soothing atmosphere. In addition, I have helped clients rehabilitate from sports injuries, chronic pain and occupational stress working for a premier athletic club.
My first love is my family. I have been married to my wonderful husband for nineteen years. He and our three children are my special blessings!
My second love is caring for people and helping them to feel better. I believe that receiving massage regularly is essential for a healthy lifestyle. It can truly help people who are seeking an alternative healthcare approach. My clients believe that preventative maintenance through massage therapy assists them in obtaining the healthy lifestyle they desire.
I have seen over the years the profound benefits that massage has regarding chronic issues. When clients have been to various doctors and specialists looking for answers, wanting them to relieve their pain, and to no avail. After much of their time and money spent, they have come away unchanged. The specialists tell our clients that they do not know what is causing their pain, or, if they do, that medicine and/or surgery is their only hope for relief; both, of which, can have adverse side effects. These clients then try massage as one of their last resorts. After they come, they start feeling better. Our clients realize they can be helped and do not have to live in constant pain. They get relief. Our clients have the freedom to move better and pain free, improving their daily activities and their quality of life. That is what brings me great joy!
