What to expect when you visit Back in Balance Therapeutic Massage of Wisconsin

If you have never had a massage, you may be wondering what to expect during your first visit with us. You will experience relaxation and comfort, dedicated to your well-being and peace of mind. We want your massage experience to be a memorable one.

You can expect your massage treatment at Back In Balance to be tailored to meet your healthcare needs. Our friendly, professional staff will welcome you and provide you with a simple intake form that will provide Back in Balance with medical history, past or present injuries or other physical conditions that we should be aware of prior to your service.

One of our friendly, professional licensed Massage Therapist will begin the process with a consultation where we listen to you and come to understand your particular concerns, review your information, including current conditions that might affect treatment or if there is a specific area or challenge you would like us to focus on.

At Back in Balance, you can expect a tranquil, relaxing and comfortable environment throughout your massage session. Our rooms have soothing music and relaxing lighting with the highest quality tables, covered in clean, comfortable linens and a plush blanket. You can always communicate any requests or concerns to your Massage Therapist during your treatment. Your level of comfort is our top priority!

During Your Visit

• This is your time to relax and escape. Please turn off your cell phone and pager. During your service if you like chatting, we'll chat. But if you prefer to relax in silence, we want you to feel comfortable doing so.
• First visits are required to fill out a confidential health history form prior to treatment to allow for an initial health assessment.
• We recommend that you leave jewelry at home and put long hair in a clip.
• We serve complimentary bottled water with all services.

Hours of operation are by appointment only, which helps to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. This can be done by phone or online 24 hours a day. Our time together is important. Unless there is an emergency, you may cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations or no-show appointments will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price.

• Gift cards, gift certificates and packages expire one year from issue date. They are non-refundable, have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. Packages are purchased for use only at Back in Balance and not for or with a specific therapist. They may be shared with members of your family and or gifted to friends.
